It's been almost a week since my surgery, and I really can't complain! The procedure itself went off without a hitch. It took me a while longer than anticipated to wake up following the anesthesia; and once I did it look longer for my oxygen level to get up to par. But once that was all set I just wanted to get out of there. The nurses advised me to allow myself to fall asleep once I was out of the anesthesia...but I wasn't having that. I had just fully woken up! :)
Recovery these past few days has been going quite well. I saw Dr. Falvo on Friday for a follow up and he was more than satisfied with how the wound was looking. He cleared me to go back to work tomorrow, and hopefully life will get back to normal.
I can't write as much as I'd like at the moment ; there is laundry to be put away & some homework for me to do. We're going to Lewiston for dinner tonight which will be nice, as always.
The next few months will be crazy. Final exams, presentations, weddings, vacations, promotions *hopefully*, parties, planning, house selling/buying...the possibilities are endless!
